This picture of an Oak Tree relates to my book because, their is this part in the book were Simon the main character crashes to a tree and all these weird things start happening to him and his friends. Its like if the tree was magical. So i decided to put an oak tree because these trees seem to live for a really long time enough to maybe have mysterious things in them and thats what the book is about, mystery.

Shades of Simon Gray "Quote4"

Pg,75: "Moonlight streaked through his window creating shadows" Main character in this quote is Simon, hes actually just in a coma but his mind keeps working and he thinks that hes alive, living in his neighborhood again. This quote is important becasue it shows how much he cares to be back with his friends from his neighborhood, wanting to see people just pass by his house. What i think is gonna happen next is probably Simon is gonna wake up from the coma.

Pg, 9: "He liked to see the kids happy, it made him feel good." Simon used to be a babysitter for his neighborhood so everytime he used to babysitt, it made him feel good or even happy to see the kids enjoy there day and have fun. It tells me how he is around kids and makes me trust him, hes showing other people too that he is able to maintain a job and not get annoyed by kids.

Pg,10: "Simon thought he saw his mother rising from her restful place" Simon lost his mother a few years ago and he was really stressed out that day and he was just wishing that his mother would appear so that maybe she can help him out with the situations that were going on in his life at that moment, and thats when he imagined that he saw her rising from her grave. This quote is telling you about Simon and where he goes to so he can feel better.

1st Quote from "The Shades of Simon"

Pg,8: "Simon turned his face toward the sky so thick with stars" I chose this quote because its talking about how he spends his moments of life. He likes to look at the sky and guess how many starts are up their. I really like this quote because i will do the same thing if i wanted to relax on a stressful day, and he might have been stressed or just wanted to think of stuff and so he decided to do that. I think whats gonna happen next is that someone is gonna see him doing looking up at the sky and is gonna wanna do the same thing with him.

Quote and Analysis from Forever

Pg, 204: "Forever is a long time for a kid like you" This quote was said when Theo was talking to Katherine at camp. They were both sharing there live's with eachothern and thats when Katherine told him that she had a boyfriend back home and that they were gonna love eachother forever. Thats when Theo told her that quote. I chose this quote because its about sharing the things that happend in your life with someone special.

2nd Quote from "Forever"

Pg, 200:  "I missed you so much and I love you" This quote happend close to the end of the book. Katherine went to camp so she had to leave Michael for 1 whole month. Through out that 1 month it was like if they were being tortured because they have never been away from each other for such a long time. So when Katherine came back the city she wanted to see Michael as quickly as possible and when they saw each other thats what Michael told her.

Quote from "Forever"

Pg,124: "I dont judge I just advise" This quote was when Katherine was going to visit her grandma over the weekend and her grandma wanted to talk to her about Michael, so the grandma started talking about him and thats when Katherin got kind of mad, and her grandma said that quote. Katherine's grandma was trying to help her out in case she got into any problems so then she realized it and said sorry to her grandma for getting mad at her.

2nd Book: Believable or Unbelievable?

The second book I'm reading is called "Forever" and the author is Judy Blume. This book is really interesting but it has some parts were it seems believable or unbelievable, like in the part of the book when the character named Katherine said that she loves this character named Michael, I think that part is believable because mostly everyone loves somebody at some point. I also read an unbelievable sentence for example when Katherine is talking to her mother about Michael, her mother said that you cant go back to holding hands when your with someone. I think thats unbelievable because anyone can do whatever they want, and if you want to hold hands with someone again then you can as long as he/she is ok with it. Overall I think its a really good book.

Relating to the book.

The book named The Apprentice relates to me because I have seen the commercials of this show named "Rizzoli and Isles" and so i watched it one night and i realized that it sounded pretty familier to the book. So then i just started watching the show more often, and it was very interesting. I got surprised when i saw the characters because i thought they were gonna be more different looking, but overall that is how i relate to the book.

Relation of book and picture.

This picture relates to my book by both of them being girl investigators. Also when it comes down to where you have to investigate or at anytime, you have to have a gun with you, just incase the killer comes out from somewhere and trys to do something bad to you or other people. Lastly, there related because in my book the investigator named Rizzoli is mostly always investigating by herself and then later on people come to help her out, but she arrives 1st in the scene like the picture too.

Post'5: Investigation Affects

P.g: 208, "She sat in her car, warm air blasting from the A.C vent, sweat beding on her face. Even the night's heat could not be dispel the chill she still felt from the autopsy room."
In this last quote from the book, Rizzoli feels bad after what she just heard that she just wants to go home and lay down on her bed. Even if your a detective or a paramedic, you can still get sideaffects from wherever and that is what Rizzoli is getting in this scene. I suppose whats gonna happen next is that the main criminal that they are trying to find is gonna threaten her.

Post'4: Mysterious Things

P.g:123 "She leaned and touched the screen."What is the thing he's carrying? It looks like a rolled-up towel."
In this part of the story Hoyt found a video in the scene of the murder so he takes it back to the police station and shows it Rizzoli. At the moment when Rizzoli is watching it she see's something suspicious. So criminals often do give you clues if you focus on what there doing.

Post'3: Confusing Clues

Pg:109 "Keep in mind, that unidentified set of remains may not be a murder victim at all."
This quote is about the investigators like Zucker or detectives such as Rizzoli, being tricked by the criminals. Right now in this situation Zucker found evidence from the remains of something, that something could be an animal or something else instead of it being the woment that they are looking for. What i think is gonna happen next is that there gonna be more aware of evidence that comes up later in the story.

Post'2: Easy Giveaways from Killers

Page 106: "They have so little control over their own impulses that they'll leave all sorts of evidence behind.".
The analysis of this quote is that a doctor named Zucker, who works with Rizzoli, thinks that some criminals are are stupid or that they get so nervous when doing a crime that they will leave footprints on the floor or even hand-prints on walls. Whats gonna happened next is that probably Rizzoli is gonna recognize the prints & find out more clues from the killer.

Post'1: Rizzoli's Weakness

Page 5: "Detective Rizzoli has always possessed a strong stomach, but even she had to pause, eyes closed, fist clenched, angry at herself for this moment of weakness"
In this quote detective Rizzoli has a weakness for extreme stuff like(brain splatter,dead rotten bodies, or ripped off flesh.) She usually has a strong stomach but in this case it's a girl that fell of a building & her brain was splattered everywhere.What I think is gonna happen next is that she wont be able to take it anymore so she will eventually have to puke in the middle of the scene.

The Apprentice

What I like about the book is that it's mysterious.
I would change some of the sentences in the book to make them more understandable.
I think Erika Hermosillo should read it..
